Brecon Mountain Centre at Libanus
Right at Defynog, to Libanus, then left up country lanes to Mountain Centre. Very large open mountain area with views over Brecon and surrounding area.
Loads of flat firm dog walks, plenty of open countryside to run in. No climbing - we park on top of the mountain.
Sheep chasing dogs not welcome! Some slight hills, mostly closely grazed grass paths between banks of heather. Lots of sheep but area large so us good dogs can be let off lead wherever sheep are not grazing.
Sticky sheep poo on ground can mess up our coats; owner will be unhappy if we roll in it. Water pools and small lakes for us dogs to swim and wash in.
